The first consideration is the structure of the piston. In general, the choice of seal shape determines the structure of the piston. There are two types of piston structure, that is, the integral type and the split type. 

In comparison, if this structure form, then its structure will be relatively simple, but in the processing and making the live game is more difficult. In addition, using this form of structure, when the installation of seals are prone to strain and distortion problems, which will seriously affect the sealing performance of the hydraulic cylinder and the service life of the seals, and the latter can be dismantled for many times, and the service life of the seals is also relatively long. 

If we want to reduce the cost of machining the piston, we can use it in combination with the support ring when installing the seal. In addition, the supporting ring is an indispensable structural element of the piston, which can realize accurate guidance requirements and absorb lateral forces generated at any time when the piston moves. This can also ensure the use of hydraulic cylinder performance.

Under normal circumstances,0 seal eagle and grid ring is more suitable for the application of the integral piston, and Y seal ring, Yx seal bacteria and V-shaped seal with more suitable for split looping, at present, the hydraulic cylinder to choose more "grid ring" and "seal" seals, the use effect is better.
